Gamers are very angry at Take-Two because they have officially banned modding the game. The mod OpenIV is no longer allowed to use on GTA IV. Take-Two is apparantly claiming that multiplayer is affected although developers of the mode says its only affecting Single player.
In fact so many have been moved by this decision that the rating on Steam have gone from overwhelmingly positive to mostly negative. There’s even a change.org campaign out to make Take-Two reconsider. They have already reached 53.000 supporters. That’s a big crowd!
Take-Two on their end says the mod OpenIV has been a plague and annoyed the community and for GTA-Online. Yes there is always someone who will be using tools for bad stuff. Sadly this time it ruins it for so many!
