According to several sources, Ubisoft’s Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still in the early development stages, with a few small areas accessible with low-resolution graphics.
Earlier this summer, sources stated that Ubisoft did some internal and external playtesting, citing that the game is in “early development” as they roll out the early gameplay to staff involved in the project.
Ubisoft has yet to comment on how fast will Beyond Good and Evil 2 develop into a full-fledged title. Personally, I think there are a few more years before we could see a publicly released demo.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 released footage back in 2018, though development began in 2008. At the time of writing, it surpassed Duke Nuken Forever as the longest-in-development title, marking 5300 days. With potentially a few more years to go, it’s not surprising if it hits the 6000 mark. Hopefully not. Really.
