It’s only been a matter of two weeks but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is already closing in on the sales total for Call of Duty: Vanguard in the European market. In fact, the latest GSD figures put MW2 at 125% higher than Vanguard in its first week alone(as reported by Gamesindustry.biz).
Furthermore, MW2 has also taken over the #1 spot on the GSD charts in its first week, outpacing previous top seller FIFA 23. (Also, it’s the biggest overall launch in the entire history of the Call of Duty game series, even hitting $1 billion in the first ten days alone.) It also sits right under Elden Ring as the third biggest game so far this year.
