Incredibly a full twelve years after the last release of an Age Of Empires game, Microsoft has finally announced the release of a sequel of the wonderful strategy game series; which is great news for any of the series previous fans who have anxiously been waiting for a new title. The announcement was made at Gamescom 2017, in Germany, introducing Age of Empires IV with a cinematic trailer consisting of some great sound and truly inspired artworks. It seems that all the pressure from fans around the world who continued playing Ages Of Empires over the years finally pressured Microsoft into refreshing the series and releasing a new title.
The trailer was very vague in terms of detail but we only know that the game will be optimized to run fluidly on Windows 10. The game promises to look fantastic on current hardware and we cant wait to play it!
