Square Enix released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XVI on Thursday. This one focuses on the world of Valisthea, and the various kingdoms and people who live there.
The developer also unveiled two new Dominants – Dion Lesage and Barnabas Tharmr. These are people who can summon giant Eikon beasts in battle, and protagonist Clive Rosfield is also one of these.
As far as development is concerned, producer Naoki Yoshida says that it is moving towards the final push. The team is now working on fixing errors, and is otherwise polishing and optimizing before launch. Launch will be sometime during the summer of 2023.
Yoshida otherwise promises to share even more information about Final Fantasy XVI in the coming months.
Final Fantasy XVI is only available for PlayStation 5.
