Developer Insomniac Games has finally announced the release date for its next release in the Ratchet & Clank series – Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart. The game will be released on June 11 this year, and is exclusive to the PlayStation 5 platform.
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart was first announced a year ago at the unveiling of the PlayStation 5 console and offers a number of innovations in a series already known for its wild game mechanic creativity.

New playable character It has also been revealed that a new playable character of the same race as Ratchet – a so-called lombax – will announce its arrival in the game. The premise this time is that Ratchet and Clank have been separated and must try to find each other again across dimensions, with a completely new arsenal at their disposal and through both new and recognizable surroundings.
The first game in the series was released in 2002 for PlayStation 2, while the latest title was released in 2016 for PlayStation 4 and was a kind of a new version of the first game. The series has generally received good reviews.
