Devolver Digital revealed on Tuesday that Return to Monkey Island is ready for launch on the latest console generation. The adventure game arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 8 – a month and a half after its launch on PC, Mac and Nintendo Switch.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers can start playing the game right from launch day, without having to pay anything more than what they already do for the subscription.
Return to Monkey Island was first unveiled in April this year. The game is technically number six in the series, but is only the third from the series’ original creator – Ron Gilbert.
The comeback was very successful, with its combination of classic adventure game concepts and modern game development.
