UK Sales Charts: Sony Games Survived thanks to Black Friday Weekend Sales

All of the Black Friday sales started over the weekend, and just like we saw with the early discounts last week, the price cuts have resulted in some of Sony’s first-party software climbing back up the physical chart positions. While The Last of Us: Part I stays put at number 38, its sequel, The Last of Us: Part II, moves up one spot to number 37. Gran Turismo 7, which is currently ranked in the 29th spot, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which is currently ranked in the 22nd spot, are both climbing the charts.

Several games are falling further and further down the charts due to the release of two new Pokémon games and the growing popularity of FIFA 23 amid World Cup mania. God of War Ragnarok maintains its strong performance by moving up one spot to fifth, while Horizon: Forbidden West falls from position 10 to position 17. In the meantime, Sonic Frontiers moved up one spot, moving into seventh place. The new video game Evil West made its debut on the 21st and has already sold more than half of its physical copies on the PlayStation 5.
